Our accredited two day PRINCE2 Practitioner classroom course fully prepares you for the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination.

The PRINCE2 Practitioner course (based on PRINCE2: 2017) builds on the knowledge that participants have gained in the PRINCE2 Foundation course and focuses on applying and tailoring PRINCE2 for the effective use of the PRINCE2 Project Management methodology in projects.

In order to take the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination, you must hold one of the following qualification:

  • PRINCE2 Foundation
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director)
  • IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
  • IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
  • IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)

There is mandatory online pre-course work that must be undertaken prior to attending this course. It is expected that it will take approximately six to eight hours to complete. You will be sent full instructions with a link to the online pre course within 48 hours of your confirmed booking. In addition, whilst attending the course there will also be some exam preparation evening work.

Follow-on Exam: PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner

Candidates who pass the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam are recognized as a ‘PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner’. Candidates will remain registered for a period of 5 years. To maintain the registered status, the “Practitioners” must complete and pass a PRINCE2 Re-Registration examination within 3-5 years of their initial/previous practitioner certification.

This course follows the 2017 syllabus and provides delegates with the following:

  • ‘Preparing for the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination’ using workbook, providing sample practitioner examination papers and marking guidelines
  • A review of the entire method, consolidating understanding and addressing any areas of concern
  • Individual scenario based exercises, designed to focus candidates on the application of the PRINCE2 method
